United Supermarkets - Clyde

You have to watch expiration dates in this store in Clyde. Yesterday some of the meat was BROWN! The produce manager listens and gets produce I request. Nice guy.

The store director seems pretty rude. I think United supermarkets promotes people because they've been there a long time. Has little to do with knowledge. I think if Kroger buys the brand they should immediately go in and replace the management team. If not eventually HEB a move out that way. With their lower prices and higher wages it may give United a problem. The corporate office should immediately move in and talk to every employee at that store. Everything should be addressed before United is bought out.

This store is usually well stocked and the staff is helpful. Some of the prices are high, but probably due to it being a small town grocery store

Friday night out of 10 pound bags of ice and 2 out of 5 items scanned the wrong price. Come on man!! Management needs to step their game up!

If you want good beef then you need to go here. Sale prices are cheaper than Walmart, who will offer an inferior USDA Select grade beef. United is 100% USDA Choice and Prime for whole cuts. BOGO and/or price reductions below 50% is typical. The cuts on sale are listed in the weekly Wednesday advertisement for the Wed-Tue sale cycle. The butchers are experienced and staff the meat market until about 3pm. Custom orders are best made before that time; either in person or by calling the store. Despite erroneous information, the meat market often has femur bones for dogs and bone broth. However, bones are typically on a request basis. I shop here several times a week for meat.
