Bidra med feedbackHave eaten here a few times last time was very disappointing, so decided to give it another go. But another disappointing meal! The pie was burnt black in places, very little filling, and accompanied by polenta (I think), roughly chopped lettuce leaves with balsamic dressing and sunflower seeds, and cabbage leaves with some caraway seeds scattered on them. Overall, a dull and unappetising plate. However, the accompanying bread with sesame seed topping was good.
Wouldn't have found this unless our vegetarian bio loving friend told us we're to go. Near the railway station where the D465 crosses the river. Well cooked fresh foods offering vegetarian options other than the normal of omelette! Bread exceptionally good and able to purchase after the meal, although perhaps a little expensive, however it is bio! Very pleasant lunch in good surroundings offer fresh food and a reasonable price. They offer a children menu which children seemed to enjoy.
From what we experienced, you won 't be able to find a better lunch in Cluny good honest food, freshly made and a more than reasonable price. The restaurant is also a boulangerie so you have to do battle with customers just wanting to buy bread. The bread is great by the way. Open for lunch and the occasional dinner, the restaurant is small but plenty of staff. If you are by yourself, there is a bar overlooking the kitchen. Pairs or larger groups are catered for on 2 levels. We had a main course each and shared an entree and left very full, The entree was a selection of Tapenades and the mains were a Burgundy torte lovely slow cooked beef. Unfortunately no room for desert. 24 Euros was great value. We 'll be back.
Super pleasant restaurant, be it the place, the service, the sweet prices and the good miam! We arrived a little late, but we got caught and my plate was succulent.
Great for breakfast and lunch, lovely terrace, fantastic bakery products, service on the slow side but very friendly Do check out the adjoining grocery store!
