Bidra med feedbackFood poisoning at two separate locations apart. I was hoping it wasn't like that, but twice too much. also eating was added sloppily. rich share of rice and friendly staff. not worth the price to get sick.
Well... we came in extra hungry and excited to get a California burrito waited 30 min for 1 burrito and one fish taco (asked for salsa and sauce on side) ... came with it on and so we asked to get it remade so ya.... Waited another 20, they thought we left still sitting hungry.... Then they closed, we are still here waiting.... The taco was good but come on , 1 hr. For sub par food and absolutely terrible customer service. I 'm an optimist by nature, a see things on the bright side girl.... But damn this was just awful. Disappointed. So im writing my first bad yelp review
Rubio's is DA BOMB! I went here for the first time on my first Cali trip! DELISH. The Chipotle Honey Argentinian Shrimp Burrito is to Die for! Mexican food is soo good. Come check this place out.
Stopped in for a quick lunch the other night and had a pleasant experience. They are still not allowing their full sauce bar given COVID, so it is a little inconvenient to have to ask for sauces time and time again and you aren't given much to begin with, so I had to go back up 3 times. The chips were crispy and fresh, and my shrimp bowl had a variety of well balanced flavors. I guess my only critique is how small the portion sizes have become. I know I'm not going to get a dozen shrimp, but to only get 4-6 in a big bowl usually makes me second guess my choice of proteins. (Plus, this time there were no shrimp when the food was brought out to me...I was fortunate to be eating in and could bring it to their attention)...check your food if picking up to go!
Will give them credit for sending a message and reach out to appear to make it right. I did follow the request and filled out the same information I put in my review and the site they sent. It's been 5 plus days and no responses from them from that. Almost looks like they post a comment back to appear like they're doing something. I will give Rubio's some free advice on how to make it right and a better experience for its customers. 1. Clean the floors 2. Clean the tables so customers don't stick to them. 3. Empty the trash. 4. Deliver hot food with a smile. If you do that you will not have any complaints or issues.
