Dusty Boots - Cloudcroft

Go eat here! This place is super cute and the wait staff is amazing! The food though... so good. I had biscuits and gravy, biscuits were fluffy and perfect, the sausage gravy is delicious. The kids Paddington pancake is huge! My kids loved them. Myteenager had the breakfast burrito with chorizo, which is also huge and he said it was great. Husband had pancakes,surprisingly (not), also huge... and fluffy. So bummed we didn't come here earlier in our trip and won't be able to come back.Seriously, check it out!

We came across this motel by chance. we talked to someone who works at the weekend and promised a clean hotel. this place is by far the best place I stayed in new mexico. we loved this place so much, we only have 3 hours to come back and stay. that's the place you almost hate to tell people about it because you want to keep it secret. they can say the owners have worked hard to make every room special and it is the cleanest place we have stayed! every room is so cozy. so far we stayed in the room route 66 and the antique rosenraum. I look forward to coming back and tasting every new room.

Pros: very friendly people and fast response times to emails and calls. Really appreciated them arranging contactless check-in for me. Enjoyed the rustic furnishings and this room had both a gas wall furnace and an electric fireplace.Cons: the walls are thin so I heard my neighbor coughing all night long. Outlets for charging are hard to find. Check the smoke detector/carbon monoxide detector if you stay here when the gas heater is in use. Mine was completely missing the battery and not working, yikes! But they quickly had a handyman there to fix it once I called them.

We loved our little overnight stay at the Dusty Boots motel. Dusty the owner was super helpful during our check in and we ran into him again helping out at the Cafe next door. Our room was so warm and cozy and nicely decorated and we had one of the best night's sleep here. Don't pass up on this cute little motel if you're passing through Cloudcroft.

We come here all the time, the service is amazing and the food is cooked just the way we want it, its never a dull moment when we come here. my husband and i enjoy coming here for lunch and breakfast, the prices are not iver what they should be, and its definitely kid friendly
