Big Daddy's Diner - Cloudcroft

Service was outstanding. Our waitress was the best!! We eat there everything we go to Cloudcroft. Never have we've been disappointed with the food or service.

The staff is so amazing and they create an atmosphere that makes you want to dine in. Their to go service is fairly fast and the food is great! Love these ladies! The owner is amazing!! We will definitely dine here when we're in town.

We were staying in Cloudcroft for a vacation and were searching for a place to eat. We did some research and found out about Big Daddy’s Diner and decided to go there . They came to serve us quickly and there was a huge variety of foods including vegetarian options. The food came quickly, and we soon realized that we had messed up. We are vegetarian and we had mistakenly ordered the cheeseburger. The kind waitress replaced it with a grilled cheese for us, and covered it themselves. We had quesadillas and sandwiches, which were all great. Finally, we ordered the Heavenly Chocolate Cake (picture includes), which was indeed heavenly, and the peach pie, which we also enjoyed. Would recommend to anyone staying here or driving by Cloudcroft.

They were very upfront about the wait times for food, but they were able to seat us right away. The wait didn't feel that long, mostly because the soup and appetizers came out quickly. The chips and queso, onion rings, and cheese curds were excellent, as was the green chile soup. Very attentive, courteous staff and easy family-going atmosphere. My husband loved his chicken fried steak, fried okra, and mac n cheese. Very generous portions, so we have dinner tonight, too! We got a banana pudding to go that I'm sure will be delicious. Highly recommend Big Daddy's Diner!

New owners are nice and the employees where friendly and welcoming. After a long drive up to Cloudcroft, it's nice to walk into a place that makes you feel at home! Thank you.
