Tomo Hibachi & Sushi Restaurant and Lounge

I called ahead to make a reservation for my boyfriend's birthday, specifying that I needed a gluten-free meal prepared at our table. However, upon arrival, we were informed that we needed to come in half an hour earlier to accommodate this request. To my disappointment, we were then told that our reservation would not be honored because other guests who were not gluten-free wanted table service. Consequently, we decided to leave the restaurant.

We had a fantastic time at this restaurant! The chef was entertaining and the food was excellent. We were seated with another couple and had engaging conversation over delicious food. The staff was attentive and made sure our water glasses were always filled. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone in the area. Just a tip, the sushi is average but the hibachi grill is the real standout!

The service, food, and atmosphere were all terrible. It was extremely disappointing. There were flies everywhere, we were seated quickly but then had to wait 30 minutes for a drink order, followed by another 30 minutes for our tasteless food. The only vegetable options were carrots and broccoli. Our sushi order was also wrong twice. To top it off, our server was seen multiple times smoking a cigarette outside while we waited for something. I didn't complain at the time to avoid embarrassing my date, but we both agreed afterwards that it was a horrible experience. Definitely not worth $100.

This place has been around for a long time. The food is just ok. The worst part was the miso soup which was basically just water. I ordered a filet hibachi and I'm pretty certain it was not filet. Otherwise everything was just fine and tasted ok. Iprobably wouldn't go back anytime soon.

Food was fair. Hibachi scallops, shrimp, and veg were good but fried rice was soggy. Soup needed salt but there was none on the table. Salad had hard chunks from the lettuce core. My husband ordered sake which he didn’t get, and there was no one to askbecause our waitress was outside sitting and talking to someone while we ate. It was 6:30 on a Friday night in July and theplace was deserted. We drove past again around 10 pm and it was still empty. Two hibachi meals, one sushi roll, and two drinks(no refills) cost over $100. It definitely was not worth it. I would not recommend this place at all.
