Great food. Great ribs. Great service. The owner has a great, positive spirit about her. Casual dining with family or friends. Also I would recommend trying one of their iced teas. You can also get some extra to go as the ribs taste just as good the next day.

First time here. Arrived near closing for a batch of collard greens to go. They were extremely friendly and professional. Answered all my questions. Took menu for future use. Place was nearly empty since ready to close but very accommodating to couple of last minute customers with to go orders including us. Well maintained. Greens were OK but not seasoned to my liking. I think they had sugar in them (not sure), just a little spicy for me. Also, couple dollars more than our usual place we get greens. Would definitely try something else at later time though.

I was really hoping this was going to be great, but it just wasn't. The ribs were super chewy, the baked beans were blah and way too firm. Maybe they weren't cooked long enough or salted too soon? Also the sauce!! While the brisket was ok, the sauce was bland and extremely sparse over the entire plate of ribs and brisket. Another very disheartening point is that the combo plate of a couple pieces of brisket, 3.5 ribs and 2 small sides, was way overpriced at $24. I expected a lot more and was very disappointed.

First time ever leaving a review. We had an issue with our order. My husband went back and the owner or manager went above and beyond to make sure he was happy. He actually bought a soda to make sure he tipped them again!!! Amazing food but the customer service is second to none.

The food was outstanding. However, the portion sizes are unreasonably small for the prices charged. The brisket platter costs $19, and it includes a small cup of chopped brisket served on Texas toast with two sides. The banana pudding was delicious, which is surprising since I'm usually not a fan of pudding. The chocolate cake was just average.
