Bidra med feedbackReally pleased to have visited here, lovely rural restaurant. Great ambience and a view over the river. Ordered scallops and they were very good and cooked properly, not always the case. Dorade was good but could have been cooked a little less, but that is personal preference not a complaint. Would certainly visit again. Charming hostess!
We visited at the end of the season and sat in the part of the restaurant that looks like a greenhouse. This area lacks atmosphere and while the service was friendly, the food struck us as just average with the exception of the crêpe flambé with Calvados. That was good. There was nothing wrong with Aux Rochers, but other restaurants manage to do better.
Had the Menu Normandie, which as some €19 for starter, main meal, and dessert, is a very fair price. The starters were not particularly good (Camambert croustililant dedidedly better than the other salad with lots of meat--mainly smoked lardons), but got better with the main meal (chicken breast with mushroom sauce). If you order cheese as the dessert, they bring you large portions of three local (soft) cheeses accompanied by bread. You certainly won't leave the place on an empty stomach! This isn't particularly fancy food, but it was good for the price and the service was fine. Note that the restaurant is not actually on the water as some others are, although it is just across it on the little road. Not a particularly romantic environment, but okay if you're looking for a decent meal.
Had a very nice meal. The food is very good and lots of choice. We had crepe suzette for dessert which is worth the wait for. Lovely location by the river.
