Delicious Alvarez - Clearlake

This is my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in town. I always get their carne asada super burrito. They can be a little inconsistent, I think they have a different chef some days, but when it's the good chef it's absolutely amazing. The carne asada is seasoned to perfection, and the whole burrito is delicious. I went here for dinner with my grandmother earlier tonight and I asked the waitress with the long braided hair (muy bonita) what her favorite was, and she suggested the mole con pollo. She has very good taste because that is now by far my favorite mexican dish. The mole is so rich and flavorful, and the chicken was tender. Her service was amazing as well, she was very genuine and patient for my grandmother. The food came out very quickly too. 10/10. My grandmother got the taco bowl lol and she loved it. Sadly I wasn't that hungry and I basically took the whole thing home after a couple bites, but even after sitting in the fridge it was all still just amazing. The decor is surprisingly spectacular too. The tables and chairs are all beautiful hand painted art pieces. It's hard to spot this restaurant from the street, but it's always places like this that have the best food

I really love this place amazing food and great service I would recommend this place to everyone that I know.

I feel like this is a place certain white people would be afraid to go to. Food is always good. Plenty of Agua Frescas as well as good desert. It's sort of known as seafood place and for good reason. Literally never had anything bad here and service is great.

I don't always give five stars but this place is probably the best I've ever been everything is great everyone that has had meals there with me loves it and is taking their spouse back I don't want my favorite place to get overcrowded but go there please I'm sure that the staff can handle the the extra business
