I had potato soup today and it was very bland which is unusual because it's normally good. I wish I could remember the name of our waitress because she went above and beyond! Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My brother and I ordered two different steak combos. Mine, I ordered medium. His, he ordered medium well-more towards the well done. The service there is always incredible. The food, however, this time came back not as done as expected. My medium steak was still very ****. My brothers medium well was redder than mine. The waitress was incredibly polite while explaining their medium looks like that. No big deal now that I know. I 've just never seen rare steak sold as medium. Good news is , the solution is throw it back on the grill. She apologized for my brothers because it was definitely under done. They came back out with our steak and some fresh sides. I appreciate the detail and consideration the owner had when he explained he always hated bringing a main course back to cold sides. Before they brought them back we decided we were just going to go. It 's not a fun dining experience if we feel we 've bugged them to death. (Not that they made us feel that way, just our own feelings). We were asked to cut into the steaks and double check. Mine ended up well done (from rare when I asked for medium) And bubs. Ended up right about medium. It really just needed a little bit extra time. I told him when he goes to reheat it, it 'll cook some more. So it 's no big deal. Mine being well done....it 's disheartening. We DID tell them it was fine. And I do appreciate all of the effort put in by the wait staff and the owner. At the end of the day, my anxiety and my brothers autism was the perfect storm to just go home and understand that we will never order steak there again. Chris was our server and he was amazing! Very very kind and respectful even with a toddler. Always made sure we had anything and food came out very quick!! Kid-friendliness: We had a 2 year old in here and our server Chris was amazing with her! Very patient and kind!!
