Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Clarksville

Rude cashier and missing side items. Shoved food in one bag and side ways and upside down. So I repacked it so it would not spill and fall out. This is when I noticed missing sides. Not sure what the cashier would think it was ok to keep cutting a customer off when asking for missing items. Food is pricey and the sass is unnecessary.

I paid $84 for 11 things 4 of which were sauces. The portion sizes were small. I didn't get a lot of what I ordered. I was super excited about it being from Ohio and my first time trying it… To be this disappointed after the amount I spent ‍

The best I can say is that our visit was OK. Good, but not great. I had a brisket sandwich with a side of cabbage slaw. The slaw was very fresh and crisp and was very enjoyable. The brisket meat was unlike any I had either seen in a restaurant or made myself. The portion was generous with little fat. It was a little dry and the meat was a little crumbly. New owners are doing a fantastic job! Best shredded barbecue, sausage, and brisket I've ever had!! Delivered and everything included in order! Great job!!!

Finally, a local Texas style BBQ. TN BBQ is OK, but for an ol Texas boy, Dickey's is more like home.
