The George - Clarendon Hills

We had a reservation for Mother’s Day. It was packed when we got there. We ordered our appetizer right away but it took an hour to get it. After two hours we had to leave. My husband stayed behind to wait for the food to bring home. Of the four items ordered only the omelet was fine. The table next to us left without food. Unfortunately they have big problems. We will try them again sometime because we really want them to succeed for our community.

Waited an hour and 40 minutes for our food, too loud to hear others, really want to like it, will give it a third shot before not going again. I understand Mother’s Day brunch can be busy

I understand that it was Mother’s Day and they were probably understaffed but it took almost an hour to get our food and our waiter was not very attentive.

Food was decent- breakfast tacos bland. Supposedly short in kitchen but took a good 1.5 hrs for service. Toooo long for not 5 star food. Had to ask for coffee refills, find someone for a kids cup to replace the glass give to my kid. I’ll try somewhere else before coming back

Pancakes were terrible for brunch all food dishes came out cold. And all of them lacked flavor. After the brunch I wound up taking my kids to McDonald's to actually get something to eat what a waste of $100 for a table of four. I really do hope they read this and do better
