Gertie's - Clarence Center

Its a pretty good place. The food is decently good and staff is also quite nice.

My sisters took me there to celebrate my birthday. We were SO disappointed after the rave reviews. We ordered drinks, it took about a half hour to get them after we had to change our drink order twice because the bar was out of various items. We literally had to to go chase down the waitress to finally get our drinks! Waited another half hour for our food. We ordered a salad to share as an appetizer but it came as the same time as the food, the veggies weren't fresh and it tasted awful. The sauce for my pasta was meh, pretty bland. Waitress rarely came to check on us. Having been a waitress I am usually pretty forgiving, but this service was pretty awful.

Very good food,chicken parm was great.Always have the harvest salad.

Avoid Gertie's. Expensive, mediocre food and lousy service. I have tried Gertie's several times and the results are always the same. I read gushing reviews, but have not had the same experience and live close enough to walk.

So loud, unfortunately, that we (a party of 4) had to lean in to really converse and hear one another.
