Update: The manager Kathy called me today and immediately apologized and shared that her supervisor was in training. She asked if I can come back in so that she could refund me. I met Kathy in person and she was overwhelmingly kind and without hesitation gave me my refund. I wanted to pay for my coffee yesterday and only needed a refund for the food but she insisted on a whole refund for the inconvenience. Happy to report that customer service is still alive in 2024. Thank you Kathy. I had high hopes for this bagel shop since my family and I love bagels. So, I thought I'd check it out first and then surprise my kiddos later with a trip to the local bagel shop. I've never been so disappointed. I ordered the Lox Stock. It tasted okay, lacking in a bit of flavor, but as I went to eat the other half, I found myself chewing on a huge piece of something plastic. Ugh, I feel so nauseous to my stomach right now just thinking about it. As you can imagine, I was disgusted. I went up the cashier and told her what I had found. Not only was she dismissive, but she didn't even apologize. She then went to offer to make me another one. I said no thank you and asked for a refund. She said because I ate half of the bagel, she can only authorize a half refund. I asked for a full refund, and she said she wasn't authorized to do that. So, then I asked for her supervisor, and she said she was the supervisor. She then started to gossip and sneer with the other employees right in front of me like I was the one in the wrong for asking for a refund. Being the supervisor, and taking into account that your customer almost just ate a huge piece of plastic, you'd think a full refund would be automatically offered, but no. She kept insisting that she's not authorized to do that. Customer service is dead, ya'll. She said that if I wanted a full refund that I'd need to talk to the general manager tomorrow when they are back in the store. So, I'll be doing that and will never be taking my family here and I would advise that you stay far away from this place as well.
Haven’t been there too many times but after a few egg sandwiches and deliberations with other New Yorkers, the only thing holding this amazing establishment back from being unrecognizable from a New York deli (never had bagels so good outside of NY!!! is the amount of eggs in the breakfast sandwiches. The ratio of egg to meat and cheese is just too high but other than this this place is great!
This is a nice place for a bagel and drip coffee but not for lattes. Over the years, I've gotten lattes with almond milk and they always make it buring hot with no foam. I got one with regular milk, and it was the same, no foam and burning hot. There are other places in town that do latte right, this is not one of them. I tried leaving feedback on their page, but it looks like they stopped paying for the domain.Informal and casual. It can get a little noisy, so this is not a place to go if you want a quiet space to work, but it's fun for people watching. The outdoor patio deck was removed post pandemic, but they still have a couple of tables outside.
Just go man. It's all good. Really. It's all good. Coffee is excellent too. Kid-friendliness: Kids like Bagels. Wheelchair accessibility: All good.ADA Compliant
