Subway - Claremont

Popped in here to grab a quick lunch with a friend. Have never been a big subway fan and this visit hasn't changed this. I chose the chicken snitzel which was nice but also had lettuce and avocado on my sandwich. Lettuce was limp and both had a brown tinge. Either or both had a strange "off" taste that ruined the sandwich as a whole. Though not the fault of this particular Subway, there is a issue with availability of gherkins which was disappointing also.

Predictable food (as it's meant to be) but I'm not impressed at all with the quality of the bread. Subway could make it much tastier and make an effort for the roll to be healthy. Fillings are good. Cookies seem unhealthy. Uninspiring but you know what to expect and that's what you get. It opens onto a desolate car park next to Stirling Highway but there's a lovely park metres away where you could eat your sub.
