Olive Ridley's - City of Plattsburgh

I visited the restaurant for drinks and to listen to the band. I managed to grab a table while my wife went to the mostly empty bar. She returned in fifteen minutes with our drinks. When it was my turn to go to the bar, it was still empty. The bartender turned his back to me and, while serving other customers, casually said he would attend to me next. However, instead of serving me, he took a sip of his own drink, checked his phone, and then walked to the back. That was the last straw for me. I won’t be coming back.

The atmosphere was quite peaceful, and the building could benefit from some maintenance. The service was relaxed but friendly. Although they were out of simple syrup at the bar, they did have a good selection of beers on tap.

Music always helps, and they get some good ones here. I Sat at the bar eating wings while the band jammed out!!
