Spoons Cafe - City of New York

I 've made an order over the phone this morning, beside the point that the lady on the phone took the order wrong (claiming I didn 't say sandwich) After spending a nice 25 min on the phone were the guy was trying to be nice (but barely let me get a word out if not me forcing him to listen) they only charged the difference (which any store should do (which was difficult with them to understand) finally last, which is crazy that I have to show below... they asked what Iwant, i said plain just egg. I got lettuces tomato etc. Thanks for making me stop ordering.

My kids and grandkids treated me to a birthday lunch. the disappointment after receiving it was beyond words. the food arrived unappetizing and not the right temperature. 1. the personal pizza was cold and soggy and slid to the side of the box 2. orange juice was hot 3. cheesecake looked like someone sat on it or puked into the container. it was also warm while I did not expect it to come wrapped in extravagant packaging, the way it arrived was definitely not acceptable.while I understand it was a hot day but its not like the delivery was that far! only 11 short blocks ! I told my kids its was amazing but when they saw the pics they told me I wasnt being honest about it. And they are right. i didnt wantto upset them. I emailed spoons and pessy replied. i sent her pics and described in short what the issues were. she asked for my phone number and I provided it a few weeks passed and I still didnt hear from anyone so I sent a follow upemail. still no response and no call. as of today it is almost 2 months since I emailed them and noone even cared to reach out to me. extremely disappointed! I waited to post a review to give them a chance rectify the situation but as oftoday NADA! will definitely not recommend anyone to go there!

Food for the most part is ok... but the prices are outrageous!! And cleanliness?!?! We needa talk about that!Food: 3/5
