Bidra med feedbackMy favourite place for brunch in all of Brooklyn, welcoming and unfussy in a way that takes you back to the before times. Then you see the big display case filled with seriously legitimate pastries of all walks and sizes. And then the menu, which somehow is preposterously big and yet all instantly desirable. And then the food comes and it is fresh, original, flavour-filled and made with real, honest love. Grab an actual newspaper, drink some excellent coffee, eat your heartout and pretend the world is just as you remember it.
Just ordered lunch on UberEats. Tuna melt was very good. I wish I could choose another bread (a croissant perhaps) but that?s a personal preference. Arnold Palmer was tangy and fresh. Lemon square is to die for. So buttery with lots of lemon curd. I want 5 more! Everything was packaged nicely and traveled well. Their lime coconut bars and cheesecake brownies are also delicious. Great place
One of my favorite cafés ever! Perfect spot to get some work done during the weekdays and enjoy some brunch with family and friends on the weekends. The food is incredible, I’ve eaten here at least a dozen times and have never had a bad meal. The service is pretty good for the most part. It can be quite slow sometimes on the weekends but that is understandable. I love the atmosphere, it’s super cute inside. I would definitely recommend.
Good food good food good food. Had the farro bowl and it had a perfect blend of flavors and ingredients.. fresh squeezed Orange Juice was the cherry on top. It’s counter service so why I rated them 4. I’d come here and hang out to have a glass of wine. Music always nice! Will be back’. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you get!!
First off this cafe is so cute and has such a great atmosphere. It's a gem in Sunset Park. I recently came in a bought an iced decaf latte but it didn't taste good due to so much half and half and when I asked if they could remake it they only offered to add another expresso shot which really didn't help. I left the store and ended up throwing out the $6 drink. With the economy these days it's a treat to get a coffee drink outside but I think they were not to happy when I asked if they could remake the drink, and the drink wasn't remade. Initially I asked if they had skim milk which they didn't so I went with half and half not realizing so much was going into the drink. Hopefully in the future if a customer maybe isn't quite aware how the drink is made or the drink doesn't taste good that there's a little bit more help in them getting a drink that they like and won't be wasted. At that point I didn't want to ask a second time if they could remake the drink, thinking it prob wouldn't happen. But otherwise like I mentioned it is a super cute place. Next time I prob will just stick to the food.
