Bidra med feedbackI have been to this restaurant twice now and both times they claimed our confirmation was not really a confirmation. We had to wait between 20 and 45 minutes each time. However, the food was delicious and definitely worth the wait. If only they would update their booking system and stop using paper, they would get a perfect score from me!
I had a delightful dining experience at this restaurant. The tapas selection was excellent and all the dishes were incredibly tasty.

We were seated at 8 pm and it was 40 minutes before anyone even came to take our drinks order and another ten until the food order was taken, then the food and drinks arrived within two minutes of each other meaning we had had to wait about 20-30 mins for a bottle of coke and two tap waters. The food when it came though was excellent, but the service was non existent. As such I wasn't particularly happy about the non optional service charge, just hope the kitchen gets a fair share of it
Having visited La Tasca in other towns, we knew what to expect and have always enjoyed the experience. It was good value, and the food was good as usual. However, this is the first time that we have experienced poor service. We had booked 6.00pm which we felt was sufficient time to get to the theatre for a 7.30pm show. The theatre was only a short five minute walk away. We have done this in London many times, and have not had any problems. Unfortunately, we had only three minutes to spare after rushing to the theatre. We had finished a bottle of wine before the waiter took our order for the main course, and that was after we attracted his attention. It won't stop me from visiting La Tasca in the future, but I won't be going to this particular one again.
