Bidra med feedbackRestaurant in very cozy and very historic building. Loved their strata, pancake and their Earl grey tea. Depend on if Cornell is in season, it is very crowded and sometimes need to wait a bit to get a table. This place includes gratuity in their check by default.
A very pleasant surprise! This tucked away eatery has a commitment to local, sustainable, farms. They cite the local farm in the description of the dish listed on the menu. This practice is great because you know by item which product will be used to prepare the finished menu choice. Knowing the farmer myself, this method increased my esteem for both Carriage House Cafe and the farmer who supplies them. The familiar bumper sticker 'No Farms, No Food ' can now be updated to 'Know Farm? Get Fed ' The food choice was well offered in an exciting and tantalizing list. An establishment well worth a repeat visit.
I have to admit that they serve the best scones I've ever tried. The scones are fresh, delicious, and wonderfully soft. The salmon sandwich was decent, but it didn't compare to the scones. By the way, just two blocks from this spot, you can enjoy the stunning view shown in the picture I shared.

Had a fantastic time! I visited my brother for his graduation and spent some time at this hidden gem right by Cornell's campus. They offered local beers, had a relaxed cabin-like atmosphere, and the experience was amazing...
