We like to check out BBQ when we travel so tried Karl’s in Chippewa Falls. We were surprisingly please with this choice! Called ahead and able to pick up through the drive thru so very covid convenient! Our server was very helpful with suggestions, very friendly when we arrived and made sure we had all of the accessories for our hotel room flatware, napkins, condiments, and plates! The ribs and brisket were excellent for these BBQ connoisseurs! The turkey was only ok but there was so much food it didn’t matter. The sides (beans, waffle fries, Mac n Cheese and cucumber salad) were all good! Highly recommend!!

The ribs have no fat on them and the smoke flavor was perfect! Great taste and hot carry out. Friendly staff and FAST service!

My family suggested stopping here for lunch. It is attached to a gas station but don’t let that deter you. We ordered brisket sandwiches, brisket philly sandwich, fried chicken sandwich, bbq chicken sandwich and a pulled pork sandwich. Everyone gave rave reviews of what they got. For sides we tried the waffle fries, regular fries, cucumber salad, and Mac and cheese loved all of those too! Yes there are not many people working there so the service can be a bit slower but take your time and relax because the food was worth the wait. They were all extremely nice and want to make their diners happy. Will definitely be coming back!
