Bidra med feedbackThis is a lovely pub in a great location, very friendly, great food and service. My only criticism is that the vegan option has not changed in several years so there is never any surprise or variety. Our latest visit was February and it was the standard sea cakes with salad. Where is the warming winter stews with chunky bread? I’d even welcome a curry or chilli for a change. The treacle tart is amazing though and lovely to have a vegan dessert option, thank you.
Yummy food!! The setting, the ambience, the food and the staff were all lovely. We opted for the pie with veg and new potatoes and fish and chips. Really really good, We also had pudding, again really good and yummy. The staff were so friendly it just made it a perfect night.
Lovely, dog friendly pub with good food. A decent menu, good range of beers and friendly staff. Found by accident, will be back
Met as a group for a family festive get together, main courses all very enjoyable. Service by the team working very positive friendly and helpful. Nice selection of wines, great views from the first floor of the sea. Avoid the deserts very over priced at £7.50. Service charge also a little shocking for groups at 12.5% for a local pub a bit much. Would have been better to allow guests to leave tips. I would return but not with a group and would also stay away from the desert menu. Main courses are very flavoursome and well created.
What a lovely pub! Extremely friendly service and brilliant food. We had the bacon and rabbit pie and the fish cakes, all delicious. The curry sauce was incredible. The most delicious chips I’ve had in ages. Can’t wait to come back!
