You can see the history in the beautiful architecture, and even in the painted ceiling that features portraits of local men buried nearby, including some more recent ones. This is also the final resting place of the first American soldier to be killed in the British military during World War II.
This stunning old church features beautiful paintings on the deck and a picturesque priory ruin. It is definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in the area.
The restaurant was a peaceful oasis, calming even the most restless of patrons. I felt a sense of tranquility as I observed the serene depiction of the Nativity scene. The atmosphere was serene, with gentle lighting illuminating the humble surroundings, including the soft woolen blanket beneath the Christ child.
