Bidra med feedbackOne of the best restaurants I?ve been in town. The food is so full of flavors. Their watermelon salad is to die for. I also loved their cucumber martini. Will definitely be back!
Everything was delicious! The watermelon margarita was tasty but not very strong and I should?ve chosen something that went better with my meal. We got the spreads sampler with hummus, tzatziki, and feta. The hummus and tzatziki were pretty standard. The feta was very unique and definitely my favorite. We also got the zucchini chips, they were good but the portion was massive. I wish they?d been a little thicker cut. For the main, I got the Tavern style lamb chops. It was delicious, but a little over cooked. My partner got the lamb shoulder and it was perfectly cooked. The seasoning was so good.
This is one of my favorite spots in River North!! I recently went there for their happy hour and the small plates and drinks were amazing and very well priced for the quality. They have beautiful outdoor seating (especially great in the summer when it?s all opened up) and the staff was super kind and helpful. Highly recommend!
We were a bit early for our reservation but enjoyed a cocktail at the bar with 4 of 6 of our party while we waited. The bartender was patient, was knowledgeable, and helped us choose what became the perfect start to our night. My fiance and I both had the Greek Old Fashioned. As we progressed to the other side for dining, our server was presentable, alert, attentive, knowledgeable, graceful, and organized. All supporting staff were well paced and took care of any additional needs we may have had. Now the food, was fantastic. We were welcomed with a nice little dish of kalamata Olives and baguette. Appetizers of Calamari, Sauteed mushrooms and Saganaki. All of our entrees were tremendous.. I could seriously go on but lets just say: you need to make a reservation and find out for yourselves! Finishing our evening with desserts and coffee with so enjoyable. Baklava Ice Cream and Orange Cake. The atmosphere was welcoming, relaxing, and refreshing. The noise was a little louder at the start but quieted down after a birthday dinner finished. But I will say, having a crowd in there meant, it was something, every bit worth the experience.
It was really good. I didn?t realize that their pork changes from location to location. The ones in Time Out are a braised carnitas type which were out of this world. The ones here are a stacked pork traditional gyro which was also good and caramelized and crispy! The chicken gyro was also very flavorful but did eat a little dry. We got the pita with dips which were tasty and the Bronzino was perfectly cooked on top of a bed of mustard greens. Delicious! The fact that the pork isn?t the same location to location, that sucked but the portion sizes were great! We finished with the ice cream which was tasty but too many huge walnuts for my taste BUT if you are a nut lover it?s probably a good thing!
