Maude's Liquor - Chicago

Fulton Market is one of my most favorite places in Chicago. The history is remarkable and the transformation over the years is equally so. We have tried many places but it was time to try Maude’s and it was wonderful! The space is intimate, romantic but relaxed. Service was excellent. Food and drinks even better. All 4 of us had smashes smily violet, bourbon, chartreuse and vodka. Really perfect summer cocktails. We shared plates salads were shaved vegetable and lyonnaise. Unique and so good! Escargot was rich with warm crusty bread. Pom frites with homemade mayo. Chicken steak and french onion fondue for main done to perfection. We skipped dessert but the choices looked sinful! Perfect spot for a first date, small celebration, or a night with friends. Relaxing and refreshing!

Love the ambiance, and the food is perfectly executed simple, yet delicious French bistro. Will definitely be returning!

Gorgeous setting and sophisticated and attentive staff. Not the most expansive menu but it works!

The place is wonderful, dark with beautiful chandeliers. Their drinks are very cute and their food was delicious!
