Hearty Cafe Pancake House (chicago)

My wife's favorite place to eat breakfast in the Chicagoland area so far. I personally enjoy the fried catfish, cheese eggs grits. The customer service is pretty good, the restaurant itself is well maintained and the food is pretty good. Happy Traveling

I usually have my order delivered but I dined in. Table wasn't wiped clean, I ask for someone to do so and they obliged. I will say that since this pandemic, I'd thought establishments would've leveled up on cleanliness, but, I guess work ethics have taken a dive too since the pandemic. I prefer delivery, food is good, but I will stay home and eat from my table. I think the restaurant has undergone a change in management bcuz when I was there last, there was someone else who managed it.

Sometimes I hit this spot up after the gym and have always enjoyed my meal and service.

I enjoyed the service; waitress was very nice responsive to our request and prompt the food is always very good !!!
