Giordano's - Chicago

Of course when you come to Chicago, you have to try the famous Chicago deep dish. Pizza was good but I prefer thin pizza. Calamari was super good! Fried perfectly and also had fried banana peppers and thinly sliced fried lemons. And the Caesar salad was good. Good dressing and good amount of Parmesan.

Was told the wait for a table would be 30 min which isn't bad during the time we were there. Was pleasantly surprised to get a table in 5 min. I'm from NY but always order extra sauce on my pizza... I've got to say, this Chicago deep dish was the best pizza I've ever had. It's the pizza I've always tried to order.... But it was done right here. If you like extra cheese and extra sauce then get the deep dish here, amazing

This house salad is great. The lemon vinaigrette is so fresh. Waiting on the deep dish pizza that takes 45 minutes to bake. The bar side is laid back and not busy at all. Bartender is very attentive and helpful! The crust is awesome! Definitely worth the wait.

Chicago deep dish pizza done right! Absolutely delicious (as usual). This location is right around the corner from the Willis tower so it’s a great place to go before or after your trip to the sky deck. Think all the Giordanos in the city are getting a make over, as the original was closed for seating (which is why we went to this location). Was impressed we got a seat right away! Waiter was honest if he thought we were ordering too much (we got a salad and a small pizza and still had leftovers). Salad had a little too much dressing for my liking (my fiancé loved it). FYI pizza takes about 40 min to make so go right when you’re about to feel hungry!

We sat at the bar and Joey was our absolutely incredible server. He was on it the whole time. Clearly it was a busy night, but he took such good care of us. Very happy we chose this as our Chicago deep dish experience; the pizza itself was also top notch — I didn’t think I liked deep dish that much.
