Bidra med feedbackDelicious food at reasonable prices in picturesque surroundings and a room on which the owner is clearly personally proud. It cannot be modern or trendy, but this is part of its charm. This morning I had the queue of the day for breakfast, which was a very generous portion and a beautiful mix of ingredients/flavors. My hubby had the granola/yogurt and we enjoyed our meals and experience. I have eaten here many times over the years, including their previous location from the last century on Foster and cannot believe that I have not reviewed it so far.
There was nothing magnificent about the key lime cupcake. And although the icing was a vibrant green, it was the only key limed flavored component of this very standard sized cupcake. The actual cake, may have been vanilla, or some bland sweet flavor, was underbaked.I asked how much they were, I was told $4.75. I should have walked, but the reviews were so positive.Didn't see any sign indicating that these were for a fundraiser. I got taken. Lesson learned. Giving one star, only because it looks like that's what's required to post my review.
Loved the details of this place it made it feel very homey ?Latte was amazing and my Erica’s breakfast sandwich was so filling and delicious.
A Taste of Heaven is an Andersonville institution. Make sure you follow them online because they often offer promotions, and occasionally free pastries when they over produce. Located in the heart of town, on a corner, you can't miss it! Inside is a bit small, but the food is worth the wait.If you're like me, you'll be entranced by the dessert case.Great for brunch, dinner, or dessert. Be sure to stop by here.
The best damn cakes in Chicago!!! This place has ruined cakes for me. Good old school cakes. The chocolate hazelnut and the white chocolate cakes are amazing.Thats it.nothing more.just go and have it. you will leave feeling like you got a warm hug on a cloudy cold day.
