Backlot Coffee - Chicago

I live in walking distance to this coffee shop and I am not much of a coffee drinker so that I go in the rule for the baked. The vegan donuts are pretty good, but they get them fresh from elsewhere and really run fast in the morning. I am rarely able to get donuts. but! they always have the vegan sense and it's really good so I'm never too disappointed. they have many vegan milk options, namely milk, which is amazing. but no vegan creamers like nut pods or so. I hope one day they will.

They did not live until they had a oat-eye-milk-Latte and a vegan peche from backlot

I love getting oat milk mochas from Backlot. I also enjoy their vegan options, as well as the 3 vegan donuts from Do-Rite that they offer.

I live just a short walk from this coffee shop and I'm not a big coffee drinker, so I usually opt for the pastries. The vegan donuts are delicious, but they come from another bakery and sell out quickly in the morning. I often miss out on getting donuts by noon. However, they always have vegan scones available and they are really tasty, so I'm never too upset. They offer a variety of vegan milk options, including oat milk which is fantastic. However, they don't have any vegan creamers like nut pods. I hope they will offer them in the future.
