Bad Alfred's Distillery - Chestertown

That was perhaps the best pizza I ever had! Amazing soft crust, fantastic cheese, fresh basil... It caught me from the guard how good it was. And the staff was fantastic. We were there tonight, at the night of Dicken's Festival, and it was super busy with a long line or the door, but it was worth waiting. And the staff was fantastic even if they were still busy; so helpful and remained cheerful.

Attention! That means the food and the staff were very well worth the waiting time on a Friday night. The sheer volume of people eating speaks how good the food is. Our group enjoyed various pizzas as well as the smoked wings and pigs tacos. Everything was delicious.

I am in this small town on a renovation project and was looking for a local restaurant for dinner. This place is only open Thursday Saturday evenings and I was lucky to go on Thursday. I had one of the best Woo-fired oven pizza I ever had. The man and woman team that runs it extremely friendly and seemed to know every customer with name, the food menu is small, but the experience was great. A great place!

We stopped with my husband and children yesterday and loved the place, the experience, the food and the service. Alfred and his wife are fantastic hosts! We recommend this restaurant very much. Drinks are great, food is fresh and service is amazing! Thank you.

Sorry half the food is gone from the picture, this is some of the best food I've ever eaten (pizza, wings, burger). The old fashioned was absolutely the best I've ever had, 100% will be back every time we're through here. Top notch.
