Tamales Y Antojitos Mexicanos La Waxolota

The first time I had a tamal torta was in Mexico City, and I only found them again in Los Angeles. So, when I discovered them in Redwood City, I had to give them a try. They had tortas I didn’t even know existed, like the chilaquiles torta and cookie champurrado, alongside the traditional options. Typically, tamal tortas come with beans and sour cream, but these didn’t need any extras; the salsa that accompanied them was enough to make them delicious. I had never been to Redwood City before, and I was pleasantly surprised to find it reminiscent of Mexico. There were five different restaurants within a block, and the lively atmosphere was simply amazing.

The food is amazing and delicious. The customer service is excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting, with beautiful artwork on display. I absolutely love this place!
