The Chichester Arms

My family and I discovered this fantastic pub near our Air B&B and it is fantastic! The service is very welcoming and they have a great selection of drinks. They also have a Beebox App system that allows you to choose songs from a large library for free! Don't miss out on this place, you won't be disappointed!

The Chichester Arms is an excellent pub with attentive service. Its location near the University of Chester makes it convenient for students, and it's just a short 10-minute walk to the city centre.

I recently went to see a fantastic Oasis tribute band that I hadn't seen in years at a restaurant. When we arrived, we were surprised to be seated and offered table service. The waitress at the bar was friendly and served our drinks. Towards the end of the show, I placed a glass on the bar and the manager's son rudely reacted by shouting and behaving aggressively. It was clear that they lacked people skills, as a simple request to remove the glass would have sufficed. Unfortunately, the younger manager's rude behavior led to us being asked to leave. I doubt I will return while this management team is in charge, which is a shame because I used to enjoy going to this nostalgic bar from my younger days.

My twin brother Stephen and I decided to have a two day trip to Chester pre coronavirus lockdown and visit some of the great sites to be found in this historically important Roman walled city and enjoy the great pubs,bars and restaurants Chester is justifiably famous for and a visit to The Chichester Arms Pub is always a good call,a pub I always look forward to visiting. I love the look of this pub,a great interior, a solid wood serving bar, great decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, a great pub to unwind in. We were here on a Wednesday night,pub was busy with a great atmosphere, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff, after a quick study of their beers we both opted to have Lagunitas ipa ,both these ipa's were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and took in the great pub we were in. My ipa was really good, a crisp,well bodied ipa with a big hit of hops,very easy to drink,a beer style both myself and my twin brother Stephen are particularly fond of. We really enjoyed our ipa's in here and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Chichester Arms Pub is easy to locate along Garden Lane . Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, Midday till 11pm. Friday Saturday, Midday till Midnight. Sunday, Midday till 10.30pm. A great pub,one I highly recommend you visit if your in the area.

We had our daughters 18th here couldn't asked for a better night , landlord and staff were brilliant. Definitely will go back
