Smokey Bones Chesapeake

Upon walking in, I noticed it was and spacious. We were seated, and I immediately noticed I sat in something sticky. I wish I hadn't worn shorts that night. We ordered drinks, fried pickles, and loaded nachos. Drinks and fried pickles were delicious. The loaded nachos was much bigger than I had expected and good. Nice twist that it had some kind of bbq drizzle on it.

I was a bit disappointed. I will say the server and hostess were great. That is the only reason they have 3 stars. Food is on par with Apple Bee's, so glorified microwave food. Even my 9 year old complained that the bbq was dry. Maybe we are spoiled by living in Carolina and always having good bbq, but a place that totes on it's bbq and grilled meats should be able to keep the meat moist. Overall, I would probably skip eating here again, but I have to applaud the staff. They got some great people serving there.

We needed to find sustenance and look what we stumbled upon Smokey Bones greeting by Justin our server great guy and attentive! We started off with Ceasar Salads Fresh but the dressing was extremely Loud and boisterous I ordered the pretzels with the Beer Cheese Yum and the appetizer rib tips they were delicious sauces to perfection. OMG is Monday Day the Special Day order 16 wings and get 16 wings so the Mrs ordered the smoked wings with a dry rub and sweet glaze her part two 16 wings We're Honey old bay Glazed when I tell you she tried to massacre both It was a EPIC fail of delicious proportions if we could have Justin as a server everytime we would frequent this establishment more often over it was tasty our mason jars never ran empty and we had leftover to munch on the next day!

The place is cool looking, ambience is pretty nice. Definitely a sports bar meets BBQ atmosphere. The staff servers were nice, but the place is understaffed for sure. The wings were really good, but the stuffed grilled cheese was very lack luster. I wish I had gotten the wings after trying someone 's at our table. They were also out of a lot of items. Chicken, sweet potato fries, and donuts. They also brought the wrong burger for a friend at the table. Last note, there was food stuck to the inside of my water glass. :

Not happy at all with my salmon that i just received, it's tough, tasted like it was a frozen overcooked piece of fish....just because it is delivery doesn't mean it should not meet sit down restaurant standards...i also paid for all the toppings on my daughters burger and she got a dry burger with a piece of unmelted cheese on it...like come on, this is our dinner!!!! I would come up there but i am busy which is why i had to choose delivery...i would definitely like my money back!!!!! Neither one of us want any of this food!!!! Ruined my darn appetite!!!!
