New Ranga Vilas - Chennai (Madras)

Was here few weeks ago with one of my friends. The appearance of the hotel was not appealing but the items we ordered sambar idly and mushroom parota tasted excellent.... the service was also very good...

Decent place to eat. We went there at 9.30 AM so there wasn't much it had to offer. However, the rava dosa and onion dosa we had was great. The quantity was also good and so was the sambar. Overall a clean place to eat when you are really hungry.

I've been scouting so long to find a restaurant that supplies fabulous Sambar and my wait came to an end here. Coimbatore sambar is the best I've ever tasted and I almost enjoyed the same taste here.Dosa was also great. Rightly gheed and roasted. The pricing is too moderate and worthy so full marks to pocket-factor. The building must've been built around some 70s or 80s and still has the classic feel.I had watermelon juice which was pretty decent but some 8 bucks priced above average.Overall a very veggy friendly decent restaurant where you can have family dinners around George Town area.
