Krispy Krunchy Chicken - Chelsea

Was very disappointed, I stopped here for years, last week was the worst food I ever got, sandwich was far from fresh and the Mac and cheese was tasteless.

I just discovered this place a few days ago on the drive back from Chicago to our home in Ann Arbor. We are truly blessed to have several amazing fried chicken joints in this area, and this one gets my highest recommendation. We had a large order of the tenders. They were crunchy on the outside, and moist and tender on the inside. Also very nicely seasoned with a subtly spicy and unique blend of herbs and spices. Quite meaty, and not greasy at all, which is always a plus. We got more than we could eat at one sitting. I heated the leftovers up in the toaster oven to pair with waffles, and they were still delicious after a couple days in the refrigerator. I will definitely be returning soon and often for more.

Small restaurant located inside of gas station. There are 2 small tables seating 2 people each and 1 large table seating 4, but majority of customers take food to go and tables are typically vacant. I was told they make small batches AND often replace it if the food happens to sit for a while so the food is pretty fresh. Great place for quick lunch meals, they have rotating specials. For larger orders, you can call ahead or wait time is approximately 15 minutes if they need to make more for you on the spot. Many sides to chose from. I think getting fried chicken here is more affordable here than local KFC. The fried chicken is pretty good, but most of the seasoning is located in the batter. I've had somewhat better flavored fried chicken elsewhere, but, given the price, the chicken is well worth it. The tenders are even better. There is also fried seafood (a little pricier than the chicken, but it's seafood after all). I've only had the shrimp so far, which were pretty decently sized and delicious. The staff are SO friendly and polite, hard working people. Come here to take home a convenient tasty meal for you and your family!

Worker refused to wear a mask and the guy behind me in line asked her to put her mask on and she said no and then continued to tell him she wouldn't serve him if he was on his phone. Not pleased to see this from a restaurant and gas station during a pandemic. So Disrespectful

Even if google says they are open until 9 o'clock. around 1830 clock immigrated and completely closed. not happy
