Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant consistently serves the best burritos in the area. The "Mondo" option is a must-try, offering numerous ingredient choices so you can customize it exactly how you like. You can either go for a burrito or opt for a meal instead. If you're in the mood for something lighter, their fish dishes are excellent as well. Both the restaurant and the restrooms were clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend trying the green packs; they are my personal favorite!
On our visit, a group of teenagers loitered at the entrance, which should have been our first red flag. One girl, who was clearly an employee, was busy entertaining a crowd of guys outside with her vaping. She looked so annoyed that we had interrupted her little gathering that she couldn't even focus on her work. I ordered a wet burrito, but it was quite disappointing—the rice inside was undercooked and hard, and the burrito was cold. I only managed to eat about three-quarters of it. My husband went for a taco and enchilada plate. The staff seemed confused about the ingredients, which was strange. When I inquired about the "carnitas" filling, she casually remarked, "No, it's pig," which left me a bit taken aback. As we were leaving, we noticed the same girl from earlier and a few others casually socializing, completely ignoring any customers who arrived. We didn't receive a single greeting or thank you during our visit. Overall, it felt like a waste of $25, and we decided we wouldn’t be returning. Fast forward to 5/25/22: we decided to give it another try. Unfortunately, there was no one at the front to greet us, and we waited patiently for someone to notice we were there. After a few minutes, we saw a shabby-looking Civic pull up with two greasy young guys who headed straight for the back, clearly more interested in socializing with the staff than anything else. The same rude employee from before eventually came to the front—her artificially colored hair and irritated expression did not instill confidence. She asked us what we wanted, clearly annoyed that we were interrupting her downtime. It was uncomfortable, especially considering the negative reviews she’s received on Google and Facebook. Additionally, I noticed that the same type of unsupervised loitering occurred in the food prep area, which is a serious health code violation. There's no reason for anyone to be in that area with outside food or drinks. I plan to forward this assessment to the management and the health department. She really needs to reconsider her career path—perhaps a job in a factory with machines would be a better fit than one involving people.
The food here is amazing and very affordable. I only come on Sundays because I can enjoy a complimentary meal with my father.
