Yeck Family Drive In - Cheboygan

I stumbled into this cute little drive in while traveling with my dog. We were hungry having just hiked about 25 miles on a protein bar. The food was excellent (especially the peanut butter shake! and the service was outstanding. It was so nice to be able to sit in my car with my dog, listen to the radio and enjoy a nice hot meal. My server (can’t remember her name but she was delightful made great recommendations since we were from out of town and everything on the menu sounded good after all that hiking. Thanks so much. We travel to the UP several times a year and plan to make Yecks a regular stop on the way.

My favorite place in Cheboygan! I love the old time drive-in. The deep fried ham and cheese, onion rings, and peanut butter shake are my favorite. I live in Florida and only get up here every other year but Yeck's is always my first stop!

Growing up in Mackinaw City, this has always been my go-to spot for summer dining. Even though I now live in Grand Rapids, whenever I visit my family back home, I always make sure to stop by this restaurant. The staff is fantastic, the food is incredible, and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing meal. I just wish there was something similar in GR!
