Boccaccia - Chattanooga

Not many good Italian restaurants in Chattanooga and it's surrounding areas. Boccaccia is a great one! Great atmosphere, intimate, and calming. Service is good. Food is good, some dishes could use a bit more flavor or Umami maybe?! Overall a pleasant experience and we'll definitely be returning patrons.

Wonderful space and service but I feel like this place has an identity crisis I'm not sure what it's trying to be. The food was okay. My food was bland and disappointing, her food was much better, chicken parmesan. It's unfortunate that the highlight of the meal for my girlfriend was how wonderful the complimentary bread was.

Honestly not sure why this place has such good reviews. The waitress we had was super slow to come to the table and was borderline rude when she did (yet she was doting on the couple next to us and ignoring us and everyone else the whole time . The sodas were literally brought to the table in a can (and is $2.50! and then poured into a glass. The bolognese was okay but the noodles were super overcooked. The spaghetti was gross and tasted like it came out of a can of Ragu. Absolutely not worth what we paid. This place tries to be fancy and completely fails.

After a little attitude at the door (we did not have a reservation, and it was empty inside) we had a really great meal!!! We would definitely go again.

Went for my birthday, I took home my complimentary slice of cake to go. Most chocolatey indulging ever! Good food, great service, nice atmosphere.
