Bidra med feedbackThis is a tiny restaurant, perhaps 8 seats downstairs and 15 or so upstairs, but the food is excellent and the warmth of the welcome and quality of the service makes it very special. We had the asparagus and scallops to start, the asparagus was superb, scallops slightly over cooked but still very good. Fillet steak and bass fillet for main were both excellent, particularly the bass. For dessert we had the strawberry tart and pistachio chocolate bar. A little too much pistachio foam for me, but really very good. Just before we left we were given the final amuse bouche, a lemon mousse that was so light it was almost like air and the flavour was out of this world. Fabulous end to a great meal. We don’t speak much French, but got by without difficulty and the most notable thing was the amount of laughter from the waitress and the other diners. This was really nice, not stuffy at all.
We were the only guests whole night, I guess it is due to the summer festival. The food is great, we enjoyed a lot the set menu and wine. Though the tempo was too quick, we have request to serve it slower with half an hour wait, but they served immediately after started. weird.
Une agréable surprise ... un restaurant chaleureux. ... salle de petite taille un service impeccable. ...des mets frais qui réveille les papilles. .. un foie gras maison au top .... Une souris a agneau fondante a souhait .... Rien a redire .... sauf a y aller les yeux fermés
The food at this restaurant was excellent. The service was good and also very good value for money. What more could one ask?
This is a small restaurant in an old building. 2 tables on the ground floor, 5 tables on the 1st floor. Nice distance between the tables. No concern that the neighbouring table was listening to your conversation. Nice staff with limited EnglishI went for the €30 menu - 3 courses. Goat's cheese, Cod & local cheeses. My husband went A La Carte 2 courses at €36 Lobster & Guinea Fowl. My Goat's cheese was great. Portion enormous. My husband's Guinea Fowl was great. Local cheese board also excellent. Everything else was OK. There was also 2 courses not mentioned on the menu which was a nice touch. Last year, this restaurant was our best meal in a 3 week holiday Would we come back again next year? Probably not. Time to try somewhere else.
