Bidra med feedbackMy family had dinner at this restaurant during our trip, and our son declared it the best meal he's ever had! The kids' meals are excellent value at $10 for a drink and a meal. The service was top-notch, earning five stars. We will definitely be returning next time.
Nowhere else in the charts towers it seemed to be going. the area was very easy with a concrete floor, so a bit loud and the tables had a paper cover. the food was ordered in the bar. our meals arrived quickly, to the table delivered the “Big clive Parmi” lived until the name – it was huge. we got a friendly farewell as we left.
Sorry don't normally do this, very disappointing the service was terrible , kept waiting to be served while the lady just kept doing what ever she was doing. The meal took over a hour and 15 minutes which I understand its gets busy. I ordered...Barra and I know my fish as we are fisherman. I am afraid this was no barra , I realise you are not on the coast but if you dont have Barra dont sent it out as barra. .
My partner and I stayed in one of the upstairs rooms while we were passing threw on our way west. Staff were helpful and friendly and the restaurant seemed nice although we didn't eat in. The room was very disappointing. The room was hostel style...with all the communal spaces you wouls usually have, kitchen, lounge, dining and bathrooms although very outdated and in need of New furniture, fittings and decor. My pillow was so flat and discolored it seemed like it expired in 1998 and the sheets were so discolored and thin that there were actually holes. It has everything you should need and has the potential to be a great hostel style accomodation but is in DESPERATE need of a makeover. We have stayed in much nicer hostels for a third of the price.
This so-called "historical venue" is really just an old hotel from the 1900s with a bar, a room full of slot machines, and a basic dining area that is only deserving of a 2-star rating. The saving grace was the slightly improved quality of the food. The location is inconvenient, as it is not in the more appealing center of town. I would recommend eating at the Stock Exchange Cafe instead. It was disappointing that our Viking tour had us dine at this establishment.
