Junction 23 Lorry Park - Charnwood

This truck stop offers well-priced and tasty food. The only downside is that 3 out of the 4 showers are out of order. The remaining working shower only has cold water due to a problem with the mixer control. The showers have been malfunctioning for the past month.

I visited this restaurant with my wife and daughter for a Christmas lunch in mid-December. The meal was delicious, reasonably priced, and the atmosphere was lovely. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The staff is friendly and helpful, the washrooms are clean, and there is a wide variety of food choices including two daily specials. The meal and coffee deal is around £8.50, but with a £8.00 voucher included, it's great value for money. The parking layout could be improved as you need to be cautious of where you park in order to leave early in the morning. Overall, I would definitely choose this restaurant over motorway services.

Reasonable food at reasonable prices, good selection, self service, only. open till about 9pm form early morning.

Can rarely get a spot as transport companies use to park and food it expensive. Unsure what it tastes like because I wouldn’t pay the price
