Bidra med feedbackI absolutely LOVE this place. It’s a long time staple in this area of Charlotte. The food is just amazing and well priced too in this crazy economy with so many inflated prices. I had the cheeseburger and green beans and I’m writing this while in a minor food coma, that’s how good it was! Jason was my server and honestly one of the best severs I’ve ever known. Highly recommended for the food, great service and ambiance to top it off.
Best burger in town!! Grew up coming to this place. The owner is great the history here is lovely. Nostalgic for me for sure- check out the gorgeous black/white framed staff pic wall in the back: gorgeous 90’s perfection!!! I remember those years so vividly Best servers ever too!! Thank y’all for being great at what you do- not easy to find these days!!
It's been far too long in between visits. I've always enjoyed the throwback atmosphere and vibe of this establishment that has been around since 1987. It's the food, it's the staff, it's the ambiance...it's everything. In every single nook and corner, I can find something that invokes fine memories of years and decades gone past. From the murals on the exterior walls to the vinyl records and other eclectic memorabilia that abound on the interior of the restaurant. I had one of the daily specials, which was chicken and dumplings. I ordered Pinto beans with a sprinkle of cheese and freshly chopped onions. The cornbread I slathered with butter and a garden salad as well. No picture of the salad with freshly chopped tomatoes and Italian dressing. It never stood a chance. My friend ordered chili mac. There are multiple variations available for every pallet. The sweet tea was southern and fantastic. If you've never been, Go. If you have, you already know. Love the menu options here the quiche special is always a great choice! My family loves to stop here for a great meal before a Checkers game, before the Southern Christmas Show, or prior to shopping next door at The Stash Pad.
Great food I hate to go to fast food places to much sometimes I want a real meal. I had it at Lupie's. I had the meatloaf, Mac n cheese and sautéed squash and onion. they only have mashed potatoes on Monday but definitely get there and try them out. different days different menu im a chef almost felt like I made it myself lol. I'll definitely be back.
