Trattoria Lucca - Charleston

The most authentic Italian place in charleston. could not believe they had cacio e pepe on the menu. Byob by wein for $40 it was worth it. salat. too full for dessert. this place is out of the beaten but excellent!

My man and I lived in charleston and came here for special occasions. we have specifically made a way around on our way to richmond to eat here. in the four years we have gone somehow, this place is even more amazing than I remember. everything from the appetizer to dessert was conceived with regard to optimal taste. the waiting staff is an additional bonus to make the experience even better. my only complicity is that they are not home now.

We had lucky hikes and had a place at the bar. the wee are great (barolo, barbera etc.) and the good is high quality! we had the bark carpaccio, the cacio e pepe (which was divine and so true, as amazing that should be court) and the pork (lightly crusty pan fried, yummy.) best italian in the city!

Simply one of the best meals of all time! they even made a caeser salad better than elsewhere! johnathan was great! will soon be for family style again.

What an amazing atmosphere! We had several salads and appetizers and none disapointed. Our table of 7 was handled easily by the efficient wait staff. Because we had a large table, we were able to sample each entree and they did not leave us anything but longing for more. The dessert selections were quite the treat to end the evening. Overall, an amazing experience and one we won't soon forget.
