Sabatino's Pizza - Charleston

Sabatinos is a special place in my heart. As a pizzeria that caters to college students, it has everything I look for in a pizza joint. The tiny building can seat up to 6 people inside and out, with 5-6 pies ready for slice orders. The menu offers plenty of customization options and the lunch specials are a steal at around $10 for a massive meal. The flavor is delicious, with a true New York thin crust that is phenomenal. I would even go as far as to say that this is my favorite by-the-slice pizza in the world. I absolutely loved it!

We tried a slice of pepperoni pizza and a slice of chicken, bacon, and ranch pizza, and both were incredibly delicious. It's likely the closest you can get to New York-style pizza in Charleston, South Carolina. The only drawback is the limited indoor seating, but they do offer outdoor seating as well. We will definitely be returning for more during our visit.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. There was only a brief wait in line in the cozy dining area and my order was ready quickly. I originally thought I would have to eat at the park, but luckily an outdoor table opened up as I was leaving. The pizza was delicious, especially the two large slices I had - one pepperoni and one sausage.

I don’t believe you will find better pizza in Charleston. This pizza is thin with just the right amount of sauce and the cheese is melted to gooey perfection. The woman who waited on us was a little hippie-ish and I loved it. Fly your flag girl!

Going to start by saying I did not eat my pizza right out of the oven, so my review is based off of grabbing a couple slices to go and bringing it back to the hotel. After doing some research, I found this restaurant and was very interested in trying the pizza after reading reviews. I 'm originally from NY, so really enjoy some 'NY pizza ' since I don 't live in NY anymore. Slices were big, pizza crust was thin, great flavor! My only thing was the dough was a little rubbery. Would I go back again?..yes! It did taste really good and service was great.
