Rodney Scott's BBQ - Charleston

Rodney has the best pig in SC. I tried the ribs for the first time yesterday and can't believe it took me so long to give them a shot! Maybe the best ribs I've ever had!

From Connecticut and stopped through after a flight cancellation. Enjoyed the chicken, greens, Mac n cheese and the sweet tea....and a hush puppy.

Rodney Scott the owner and boxer welcomes guests from anywhere on the square as they have the best BBQ pork and chicken with their speciality vinegar base sauce from large sides like Mac n Cheese, Collard Greens, Fries and more. Everything I eat at Scott is DELICIOUS!

The food was delicious. The staff was friendly and efficient. I had the pork BBQ sandwich that was just good for me. I hope my mother doesn't read that. Rodney's sauce is the taste I grew thru for many decades of food and was fantastic. If aliens land on Earth, they'll meet Mr. Scott's restaurant to eat, I bet they'd get the banana pudding we missed.
