Jalisco Taqueria Tequila - Charleston

The salsa was fantastic, and the tacos were tasty. However, the Mexican street corn was just alright.

I have a mild palate and can usually find something safe to eat. However, this is not the place for me as everything I tried was spicy-spicy-extra-hot (cheese corn dip, the “mild” tomato salsa, shrimp entree, Mexican street corn was hottest). It tasted like everything had cayenne powder in it with exception of the guacamole. Bummer, I really wanted to like this place. If you like spice though, this is place for you!

The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presentated. The service was excellent. We loved everything about Jalisco and highly recommended it!

The guacamole was fabulous. The tacos were very good but I was disappointed the next day when they were pretty hard. But the filings were delicious. Our server was great!

This might be the best Mexican food I've ever tasted. The enchilada is outstanding—I had the verde, while my son enjoyed the rojo, and both were incredible. The tacos were excellent, and the Mexican street corn is genuinely exceptional.
