Osso Farm - Chardon

The food was amazing and all the staff were very attentive. The food came out fast and hot. The flank steak was so flavorful and tender. We will definitely be back.

My boyfriend, his friend and I have never been to osso before, but live nearby. I figured it would be a great experience to try it for his birthday. I was really impressed with the ambience and overall appearance of the facility, it looks nice and clean. However, we were disappointed in the food/service. I ordered a salad for an appetizer which said it came with local hydroponic lettuce, but it was served over iceberg. We also ordered an appetizer of the Texas twinkies and they came out when were almost finished with our meal. When we asked where they were, we were told the kitchen ran out. This is understandable in a small local restaurant, but no one ever came to tell us until we asked halfway through our meal when we saw our server again. When we got our food, my boyfriend got the pork special that said it came with two. He only got one, when we asked they said they would take $5 off, but again never told us when we received the food. I requested fries instead of potatoes with my salmon but got potatoes anyways. The server did bring an order of fries, but I was finished with my meal by then. All of our sides were cold. It isn’t the end of the world and I’m not mad, I’ll probably go back and try it again. But seems like management/service fell short. My boyfriend ordered the spice cake for dessert and it was great. When got our check, the $5 wasn’t taken off the bill like we were told.

Burgers were delicious. Loved that they had a varied selection of vegetables and sauces that you could add to your burger.

Service was very poor. Long, long wait for both food and drinks. Bar was out of soda water. Chaotic-food runners took plates to various tables before eventually delivering them to the proper tables. Meals arrived cold, beer arrived warm. Unfortunate, as we enjoyed both excellent food and service pre-pandemic.
