Bidra med feedbackChowmein and shebel bombe are very tasty. I think everyone should try. Momo is also good, but the broth/jhol of the jhol momo is not good. the taste of the jhol is not authentic and tastes more like curry.
Pretty good! Bison momos were the best pick of the night. Also the cumin aioli that’s served with the lamb sliders is TO DIE FOR! Warning the veggie momos are spicier than you might expect. Sizzler comes with a lot of noodles and veggies.
First time here. Came with a group of friends on a Friday night. Not too crowded but we did wait in a line for about 10min to order. Just a FYI, you do have a waitress to help get you seated but you will need to get up and go to the front to order. The interior design is a mix with traditional design and nature artworks. There's not a lot of big tables for a party greater than 5 people. We(group of 5) were seated at a booth, which was too crowded... we eventually took a chair and put it on the side. We ordered sizzler, pan fried and chili Momo which were all recommended by the waitress. The pan fried Momo wasn't as crispy as I expected but it tasted really good with the red sauce (sweet and spicy). I personally think the chili Momo is the best, most flavorful . Wings didn't have much flavors but were crispy. Definitely will want to come back again!
My experience was good! It’s been a little bit since I visited but the food and service was good.I came with a friend and we had Jhol Momo’s with Bison, the Chili Momo’s with Chicken and an appetizer of wings. The food itself was great. The Jhol Momo’s we’re tasty, the sauce was a bit like a curry you’d find, and the meat filling had a nice spring to the bite. The skin of the Momo, which was like a dumpling, was not tough nor soggy. It had the right texture to wrap the meat with. The Chili Momo’s weren’t too spicy, the chicken filling was a softer than the bison one, probably due to the meat difference but was good as well. It was really colorful and had a bit of tanginess to it, all and all very good- though I wish I had maybe 1 or 2 more to fill us up. I forgot what sauces I had but remember that those sauces were a perfect compliment to the food! The wings were crispy and tender- would get those again, other than that the flavor was more of an Asian style wing. If you’ve ever had Yoshinoya’s chicken wing it had that texture and crispiness but a different flavor.
Super delicious hole in the wall spot on Franklin St! If you're looking for something with a kick the chili chicken momos are perfect! The jhol chicken momos were a bit more traditional, but also delicious. The prices are decent and the service was quick even though the restaurant was busy. The owner has also confirmed the chicken is halal (restaurant depot). Can't wait to try more of the menu!
