Flair Restaurant Wine Bar - Chapel Hill

Visited several times and greatly enjoyed it. All items in the menu that I've tried are good, with the singular exception of the bread pudding which was dry. The drink specials areall good and a couple are quite creative. Stand out menu item is the pineapple upside down cake, which i now get every time i go and is worth the trip by itself.

What a hidden jewel tucked outside the gates of Governor's Club in Chapel Hill. We've always had a great experience. Pictures; starter of olive tapanade bruschetta and alternately a tomato parmesan topping. Then beet, goat cheese and asparagus salad with wild caught salmon. The wine list is thoughtfully curated and we had some wine tastings and decided on two different and delightful by the glass Pinot Noir. The dessert looked great across the table, some sort of bread pudding with syrup and ice cream that someone else enjoyed halfway through and then it was too sweet. Overall, great times here. Also, absolutely stellar service every time and the owners are wonderful. Cheers!

Enjoy brunch with friends. Many decisions in the menu. Enjoy the Brisket Casserole and Blueberry pancakes. Great ambience. Friendly atmosphere. Good customer service. Easy parking.

I enjoyed the roasted rice, which had a great flavor and a generous portion. I opted to add shrimp for an extra $4, but I was a bit disappointed to find only three shrimp in my meal. Perhaps there was a mistake in the kitchen, but for $4, I expected something more. The shrimp were pretty average, too. I ended up taking half of my meal home and later went to the fresh market, where I found six freshly-cooked shrimp for just $3.40.

Now, let’s talk about the burgers — they were amazing! They cook the meat exactly to your preference, and mine was cooked to a perfect medium rare. It was so tasty that I was seriously tempted to order a second one just to try more of the mouthwatering options on the menu. For dessert, we had the chocolate lava cake, which was equally delicious. I highly recommend this place and definitely plan to return with my husband. Plus, it's great to support the two wonderful Brazilian women who own the restaurant. We need more female-led establishments like this!
