Bandido's Mexican Cafe - Chapel Hill

My favorite place for Mexican food in the metro. Great tasting, friendly service, convenient location on Franklin Street. Lunch menu prices are really good, too.

This was our first visit to Bandido's Mexican Cafe and we loved everything about it. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful and the atmosphere was so charming and fun. We will definitely be back!

Visited on a saturday night to try their tacos. The place was crowded with college students and the service was thereby delayed a little. I got the carne asada tacos with corn tortillas and they were awesome. Meat was cooked perfectly and I liked how they put extra tortillas on the side. Definitely a good place to get authentic tacos.

Bandido's has been my favorite Mexican restaurant for years and I'm happy to support them during the tough times of 2020. I am extremely impressed with how they have adapted their services. You can order online or over the phone and pick up outside through a walk-up window. It's one of the safest models I've seen in Chapel Hill. As always, food is delicious and the service is great.

Turning in to local favorite. Large choice of primarily Tex-Mex cuisine. Can be hard to find as it 's in the old Rathskeller alley (for those who remember the beloved 'rat. ' Has both take out in in restaurant dining.
